The first plotting of experimental sites has just taken place
An essential part of our meadow restoration project is the scientific side of things. What machines work best? In what time frame? What exactly can they collect? In order to answer these questions, we need to have comparable results from different locations and dates. For this reason it is of utmost importance to plot the experimental plots correctly at the sites of interest.
In cooperation with our colleagues, we tested the correct methodology of plot delineation and data collection at one site in the Žďárské Hills. Compared to collecting and sowing seeds, this may not seem as fun, but it is still important for getting good results. Now everything is ready for the next phase of the project - yay for seed collection!
